ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Systems Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of complex systems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the Bank’s Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure including provisioning of new servers both on-prem and Cloud.
- Install, and configure software, hardware and certificates as required and requested.
- Support and manage Internal and external application stack.
- Identify and escalate risks, issues, incidents and control weaknesses in line with Risk Management Framework, expectations, processes and procedures
- Set up and remove system access and security levels for arriving or departing employees/contractors
- Ensure all faults are escalated to the appropriate supplier/vendor in a correct and timely manner.
- Continuously improving processes and methodologies to optimise system performance and efficiency.
ABOUT YOU
- Tertiary qualified, you have previous experience in a similar role – banking or financial services is ideal but we are open to candidates with system engineer experience from other industries.
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow.
