Systems Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Systems Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of complex systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the Bank’s Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure including provisioning of new servers both on-prem and Cloud. 
  • Install, and configure software, hardware and certificates as required and requested. 
  • Support and manage Internal and external application stack. 
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, incidents and control weaknesses in line with Risk Management Framework, expectations, processes and procedures 
  • Set up and remove system access and security levels for arriving or departing employees/contractors
  • Ensure all faults are escalated to the appropriate supplier/vendor in a correct and timely manner. 
  • Continuously improving processes and methodologies to optimise system performance and efficiency.

ABOUT YOU

  • Tertiary qualified, you have previous experience in a similar role – banking or financial services is ideal but we are open to candidates with system engineer experience from other industries.
  • Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow.
